If you like your sushi so fresh that its toes are still wiggling, and
like your art the same way, don't miss "Not in the Classroom!" an
original comedy written by Oberlin College Senior Sarah-Violet Bliss,
directed by Clare McNulty, and showcasing the acting talents of UHS
graduates Garrett Larribas, Sabrina West, and Aaron Shand.
Miss Bliss and Miss McNulty also perform in the one act play this
weekend, 8:00 p.m., Friday through Sunday, July 29th - July 31st, in the
Cabaret Theatre of the Temple of Music and Art, in which "New Age"
creative writing professor, Mr. Stanley, attempts to inspire his
difficult students to become a part of the wonderful world of artful
poetry. But their Haikus fail and their relationships crumble as
personality clashes conquer the classroom.
Director and actor Clare McNulty is an alumna of the Arizona Theatre
Company "Summer on Stage" program, and is a third year theatre major at
Oberlin College. Tickets are $7, and reservations are recommended,
especially for Saturday night. Tickets can be reserved by calling
444-3667, and can be purchased at the door. Seating is limited.
