Hi Harvey.. >>I'm soliciting thoughts on 1. practicality of the platform. << 2. durability of (stainless/teak) platform, <<
I have one on my M-17. Very old. It was on in the Gulf/Mexico for several years before I bought it (5-6 years ago) and brought it the Atlanta. >>3. the idea of using the platform for a fuel storage accessory. << Methinks it would put the stern down too much, unless you'te talking of a gallon or two ar best. >> 4. need of backing the mount on the inboard side of the transom, and 5. the thickness of that stern transom wall.<< My M-17 has a pretty thich stern...dunno about m-15 <sigh> Harvey/Ga M-17 Stargazer #294 _______________________________________________ http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/montgomery_boats
