Last year i put 3 LED's in the cabin of my M17 -- they work great and draw next to
nothing -- i used orange. I put one at the top of the mast post support on the
forward side. The other two, i put on the vertical surface formed by the forward end
of the shelves molded into the liner. That way, they reflect off the v-berth wall
illuminating the area where you would be, say, reading in bed while anchored in a
secluded cove off of lopez island in the san juans.
the location also has the advantage that its *really* easy to get the wiring
routed down to the panel.
