Connie,

I have a nylon tarp to use for a boom tent. Keeps the rain off, but lets
air in. I've used it mostly at night, so I can keep the hatch open right
through the showers. The wisker pole extends across the sternmost side to
keep it open.

Bill,

Never have had any experience with mud wasps, but for what it's worth, a
full boat cover makes a wonderful party room on a rainy day in the
harbor. I recall many a rainy Sunday spend passing a bottle of American
red wine (bourbon) around among my club mates, to their enjoyment and
amazement that American red wine tasted so good!

You don't have to be out sailing to have a good time in a sail boat!

Connie
