Yes, Steve, the centerboard seems to be doing fine with a bolt, washers, and locking nut. We even changed the pennant, which actually was a pain in the neck - the line I bought fit through the holes down to the centerboard but when we made a knot to attach it to the centerboard, the knot was too wide and the board wouldn't retract.
