Not that I intend to do anything about it, but does anyone know the location and size of the water tanks that came with the older galley model 17's. Mine had been stripped out. Apparently, someone had left some water in the tank, and over time, that became a green slimy mess, impossible to clean up.
But as for the location, I'm guessing it was under the cockpit? Maybe a 10 or 15 gallon plastic tank? This is just as a point of reference in case I ever wanted to restore the boat to how it was when new. For short trips, I'm sticking with jugs.
