I've had a 3500 pound Draw-tite on my Ford Aerostar that pulled my M-17 for about 1000 miles before I traded for a Nissan Pathfinder. I have a 5000 pound Draw-Tite on it. Only pulled the boat a few miles with it, but did rescue daughter's Nssan Sentra with blown head gasket and towed it 400 miles to her house. No problems either time.
