Does anyone use a tilt-trailer for an M-15 (or M-17)?

My M-15 came on a tilt-trailer. The first time I tried to tilt it, I could not force
the bow up to make it tilt. I have now learned, that you should slide the boat back
and the trailer will tilt by itself. No muscles are needed!

I would like to retire my tongue extension and start tilting, but I am seeking the
advice of any who may have been down this path before. I understand one concern is
the trailer tilting too high and dumping the boat on the transom. I think that can be
solved with a length of chain to restrict the angle. A water resistant shock absorber
would be even better, if such a beast exists. Then again, maybe it would not need to
be water resistant - it should be above the water.

BTW we are still sailing in Kentucky. Or more correctly we sail for a while, drift
for a while, and repeat. It is an improvement though. We had such light winds during
September that we took the mast off one weekend and just played motor boat.
