Kyle, I don't know where you picked up your story, but all I can say is that I ordered a new tiller from Bob Eeg, who mailed it out to me with the bill enclosed. I paid him when I received the new tiller.
Since then, I have found Bob most helpful to all M-ers. He is always ready to answer a question; make a suggestion; or in my latest case when I bent my mast; he immediately e-mailed me and told me the mast section to order from Dwyer Mast, which is the one he is using for new M15s. As far as I'm concerned he's a good (though distant) friend; and I have a high regard for Bob and his products.
