When I bought a cruising spinnaker from Kern in 1999, he specified a Harken #166 block (WM #153734) attached with a Ronstan #180 light duty block hangar (WM#120980). The attachment point specified was 8" above the point where the forestay enters the mast. Thost fittings are still shown in the WM 2002 master catalog. It worked for me! Hope this helps.
