Thanks, Bob.  I was impressed with a recent "Sailing" magazine article about an 
adventurer who had sailed from
L.A. to the Tuamatos in a Pearson Commander, an Alden design that is more cockpit than 
cabin, most-likely
intended for sheltered waters.  --Craig

p.s.  I talked to G.O.B.'s Jerry Powlas at Strictly Sail Chicago and told him I'd like 
to see more small boats
in the magazine . . . Mentioned the M17 . . . We talked about the up-coming M23

We loaded a great article that Karen from Good Old Boat Magazine
published in the Nov/Dec 2002 issue.

Its a good read and really proves that cruising in small, seaworthy
boats is possible.

homepage. Plenty of tips and good ideas for making a small boat
your home. These people are going world cruising next year in
their Hess designed Nor'Sea 27)
