Well, I was so excited to learn that I too have a fold up rudder that I
rushed home after work, climbed aboard Seawitch, moved the mast from
the crutch and the crutch from its place and put in the rudder to try.
Low and behold, it works. Sometimes I am amazed at my own ignorance.
Thanks to all of you who responded with your suggestions and
information. Since my rudder seems to be pretty well held in place by
the bungee I think next launch will be with the rudder already mounted.
It should simplify the business at the ramp.
