I don't have notes, but I seriously considered the Typhoon when I was boat-shopping in 2000 . . . In the end, the trailerability (Typhoon is heaver, fixed-keels are hard to launch and retrieve without trailer tongue-extensions) of the Montgomery made the decision for me.
