I have some Spinlock Powercleats that I have yet to install for the jib. I put a Spinlock on the main and love it. They have a little adapter plate that is drilled to mount on common bases.
You can either lift the line to release or toggle the top of the cleat forward. To cleat you pull the line down or toggle the back of the cleat. Tensioning the line after it is cleated is silky smooth. I believe the line will last a lot longer than if a cam cleat was used. I need to play around with the angle to mount the jib cleats. I am thinking of installing a Spinlock wedge or a piece of wood beneath it to angle the front up. The wife suggested if they were horizontal it might mean reaching too high to uncleat. Since she handles the jib I will obey. I have toyed with the idea of swivel cleats, as some of the Potter people use a small Harken cam cleat that swivels. That may make it more convenient for me when I single hand. I think it is Harken # 240. Spinlock has something similar. steve Steve R.
