Hi Rick,

I keep my spare fuel in used oil containers that I get at our Transfer
Station. That way you can pick the color of the container. Mine are red
for easy recognition.

If you plan on trips were you will operate the motor for longer periods
of time, which requires en route refueling, then the easy way is to use
an outboard fuel hose with bulb pump.

One end of the hose goes into the gallon - or larger - fuel tank opening
with the fuel tank in the cockpit.

The other end goes in the filler opening of the outboard.

Now you just squeeze the bulb and can carefully control the amount of
fuel you put in the tank. No spilling; no trying to hold a gallon tank
and pour into the outboard fuel tank.

It's easy, simple; no strain; and environmentally friendly - no spilling!

Connie
