I have considered adding a small shackle to the "spare hole" in my 4.4# claw. I can tie a short line to the bow pulpit with a carabiner snap on the end and snap it to the shackle in the claw anchor, leaving it ready to be deployed. The 4.4 is my lunch anchor, seems to hold OK, The big danford up forward is the main.
