I knew that Chimpanzee's former owner had sold her to buy a Folkboat . . . I figured that if there was a Folkboat sailor attending the Hess rendezvous . . .
Will there be anything at the rendezvous to draw the land-bound? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Doug Kelch" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "For and about Montgomery Sailboats" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, August 04, 2004 9:19 AM Subject: Folkboat, Lyle Hess Tribute in September Yes, it is! How did you know. John has been feverishly working to restore the Folkboat to his high standards and I am looking forward to seeing it. The interest level in the Hess Fest is now up to 14 boats! The biggest Montgomery happening on the east coast is in the works. Bob and Jerry - Do you have any interest interest in using up some of your frequent flyer miles? The official event is detailed at: http://roguewaveyachtsales.com/roguewave/roguewave_20.html The unoffical event has 13 Montgomery boats and 1 Folkboat in attendance. The Montgomery folks are overnighting at least 1 night and several are cruising the Bay for the next week or two. Pick your pleasure but come. I am maintaining a separate distribution list for anyone who expresses an interest so that we do not clutter up the Mlist. If anyone can't bring a boat but want to join up for a day sail let me know and we will arrange it. I must have missed an earlier post. I've searched around for it, but have come up empty.
