Irv, I have made 2 MA cruises - and will be making the third in two weeks.
The first cruise as an attempt to go from Hyannis to Nantucket - got bottled up in Hyannis waiting for a slow hurricane to pass by. After 3 days of sailing around Hyannis Harbor and Hyannisport in 25 - 30 kts of wind I pulled out and went to Pleasant Bay for another 4 days. The second cruise I made it from Hyannis to Tuckernuck/Nantucket and had an ideal cruise. (except I lost the CenterBoard on that trip) The next trip is Aug 20th 2004 - Fairhaven Ma to Edgartown via Woods Hole. I hope to see you out there soon. As for the CP 16 I don't have an personal experience but Al (Of Chesapeake Bay Cruise fame)traded off a Compac to get into an older M17 and wouldn't go back. He feels the M17 is far superior to the CP 19. ( I think that is what he had).
