What a fun day...
Some of my best days are when I have nothing to do and all day to get it
done... No where to go and all day to get there. I believe your day could be best
described here on the Left Coast as a Hawaii kind of day. You know... no
stress, no hassle and loving every minute of it. I can feel your excitement in your
post. How rare it is to feel so great. May you have many more "retired"
sailing days. People who have been working all their life, sometimes feel
retirement is going to boring. Myself, I'm not quite retired... However, when I'm off
for five months of the year... I often wonder how I'll fit going back to work
into my busy schedule.
Congratulations on retirement. Sounds like you've got it well under control.
Not sure where you are, but, there's lots of warm water sailing most every
year, the farther south you go. Call it a vacation and go have fun. I'm sure you
deserve it!
