Hey Wayne, I went out last week when we had the northerly go thru, the day was cool and winds were blowing 20-25 sailed from nueces causeway to Naval Air station and back in about 3.5 hours. We were cooking, it was a bit scary thu we were sailing in pretty good sized swells I would say 3-3.5 feet doesnt sound big but when your sliding down the backside of one whhoooppee!!
