Hi, JDL (at work we have a "JDL" plotter)....A 17 is too small to go aloft without risking a capsize. However, if you wish to attempt it, we 17 owners have been wondering for a long time how the boat behaves under those circumstances and would be much obliged if you would have someone videotape this feat for posterity. :-)
