I like a political discussion as much as anyone, but we don't do that on my boat. I find that I can get along with most anyone, and that there is no point in letting the minutae of political discussion detract from the purpose of sailing... That purpose, obviously, has nothing to do with getting from point "A" to point "B" as fast as possible. Let's please leave it out of this list.
Remember, there are two sides to environmental arguments as much as on any other topic. Calm down, go sailing, and then have a drink in a tavern.
