Tom- You are saying the end is too low, I take it.  Is the end parallel with
the seats, or does it droop down?  Is it so low that it hits your legs?

In the S-bend of the tracing you sent me the offset is only 7/8", so making
it totally straight would only raise it 7/8".  Is this what you want?  To
me, the ideal height is to have it so it easily clears your legs, even if it
means that you can't hold your beer between your legs.

Jerry, I think adding 8 or 10 inches is good.  The stock tiller hangs
too low in the cockpit for my money--I'd like to see the business end
land a couple of inches higher than it does now.  Sign me up for a new
one when they become available.  BTW, Jane and I are about to become
grandparents.  Bitchin', eh?    t
