Whoever said that the two happiest days in a sailor's life is when he buys a new boat an when he sells that boat wasn't talking about a Montgomery sailor...unless that M-sailor was getting another Montgomery.
Brian Gilbert just drove off with my Stargazer....not a happy day for me, but I wasn't using her as much as I wanted to, as it was very difficult for my First Mate to sail with us. She was with me for 9 years and 1 week...and leaves behind many pleasant memories. If she was an M-15 instead of a M-17, I probably could single hand her a lot easier, and would have kept her for a few more years. I wish Brian and Stargazer well, and a long life together. Seems that he's planning some interesting adventures with her, once they get to know each other. I'll still be on the list...so ya ain't rid of me yet!!
