I do have a little trouble keeping my foot out of it--it's so much fun!

The low speed torque in the turbo Forester is great! It's almost like
having another gear in the transmission. The turbo requires premium
gasoline (91 octane or better). I get 20 to 23 mpg driving on the road
with no real load; and I averaged 16.71 mpg towing my M15 from Pullman
to Anacortes and back (808 miles round trip) over the Cascade Mountains
at 60-70 mpg (yes, even 60 mph up the grades).
