I just try to follow best practices per the galvanic chart on boat stuff.  
Copper would make a better ss to al conductor instead of insulating them on 
mast 
parts. But who knows (I sure don't) how much or how fast the copper would 
make a difference. 

All bets are off when I work on cars, mcys and airplanes though. I just 
replaced a head gasket on a Honda Civic and used aviation copper gasket sealer. 
I 
have no idea why dissimilar metals are less problem on autos than boats...boat 
diesels have sacrificial zinc sticks that go in the crankcase and I've never 
heard of car engines having them.
