I've installed a new mast and rigging on my M15. The performance has been increased substantially. The old shortened mast had it's jib attached to the bow with a short forestay and a large turnbuckle. Jerry sent me the correct rigging for an M15 (the old port and starboard shrouds were of different lengths also). I'm slowly getting my M15 into proper specs. My next improvement is with the jib connection to the bow. I have a stainless steel anchor roller on the bow. Jerry's longer forestay eliminates the need for the large turnbuckle. The anchor roller has three holes for attachments. The difference between the forward and aft hole location is about 2" in length. I want to get the optimum angle on the forestay. Should the jib be attached to the most forward hole or closest to the cabin? Any suggestions would be appreciated as always.
