I've only had the privilege of crawling aboard one too, Dennis'.  I suspect
if I owned her she'd lose the lifelines & stanchions.  After that occurred,
I bet I wouldn't have any real complaints about the width of the side decks.

I'm 90% sure Pretentious will be losing hers and growing a bigger toerail.
I've taken them off and already I like the boat better!

The CD33 I crewed on had them, of course, and the dang things seemed to pose
more of a hazard than a help.  I'll take plenty of good beefy hand holds
like Rick made for Bluebird, and a toe rail, thank you.
