Carlos, When we had Pacific Trailers make us a new trailer for our 23 we had them fabricate an extendable/removeable tongue into it. Our main concern was to be able to extend the tongue to make launching easier but you can just as easily pull the whole tongue right out of the trailer and set in on the floor under the trailer. We have a powerboat (don't tell anyone) and that's exactly what we do with it when we put it in the garage. It saves about 3 feet of length. If the trailer has surge brakes you just have them install a quick release coupler right where the tongue disengages. I have one on each trailer and they work great. You can see the pins in our Montgomery trailer's tongue in this photo.

There is a link to Pacific Trailers webpage at the bottom. We were very happy with their product and service. If you go there deal with Larry and please mention that the guy with the Monty 23 from Arizona recommended them _______________________________________________ http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/montgomery_boats
