A big thanks to Norm Bundeck for helping us pull off the first (hopefully no the last!) Monty Anacapa Cruise. We had a great sail out to Anacapa, about 12 miles off the coast of Oxnard, Ca. The wind let us down in the afternoon and we had a long motor "slog" home but it was all worth it.
I really enjoyed finally meeting Norm and Dan face to face! Norm, Dan, and Jason's Montgomerys got a lot of comments from the locals. We even got chased down on the back side of Anacapa Island by a Catalina 40 whose skipper wanted to know "What are those boats??!!" Channel Islands Harbor was beautiful and treated us very well.
