Hang in there Steve! I feel your pain! 115 at 3pm today on its way to
around 117 or 118 today here in Havasu. It's definitely time for us to pay for
gloating all winter! At least you have your Monty back on the water already
after
taming the Keel-a-monster! I wish 'Jo and I could follow you up to San Fran.
Last year this time we went up there and spent a weekend at a bed and
breakfeast on the beach in Half-Moon Bay. Oh man, was it beautiful.

Long night at work last night and I thought I'd catch a couple hours sleep
when I got home at 7am and then go out and work on Dauntless. Slept a couple
more hours than I thought I would. Got up to go out to the boat, opened the
door,
....................said "forget this" closed the door went back to being a
potato on the couch. Oh well, up at 5 am tomorrow to catch the cooler air and
get back to working on the old girl.

Oh, and Bill.....you are right that I'd love to take Coyote off of Johns
hands. As far as "racer trained", well......although Jason and I like to fancy
ourselves as "world class" sailors, truth is most of you out there reading this
would put our sailing experience to shame! We just like go out and have fun.
Yes we race, but more often than not we are looking at someone's transom! But,
we always make sure we have fun. Unfortunatley, Jason is leaving for his new
home in Idaho next week and taking M17 #313 with him. I'm sure he'll hook up
with the Monty sailors up there on their beautiful lakes. I'll miss sailing
with
him.

Dauntless' blisters are almost a thing of memories. Just a little more
filling/glassing to do and it'll be onto the next step. Oh how I wish we were
on our
way to the San Juans to join everyone up there like originally planned.

Sean
