Randy,

I checked out your pictures and they are great. I'm sooo disapointed that 'Jo
and I did not get to attend this years trip. I know Larry is kind of "on the
fence" about putting the trip together next year. I sure hope it goes. If I
don't have Dauntless ready to go by that trip I'm throwing in the towell!

You are right about the 17. I think many will agree that it is the best all
around boat of the three sizes.

My good friend Jason Thompson just moved up to your neck of the woods (Idaho)
and took his 17 with him. I am so sorry to see him go. We've had some great
sails together and he was always around to bounce ideas off of and give a hand
when needed. But, I talked to him yesterday and he's all settled in his new
home and happy as can be. Says he really doesn't miss 120 degrees! Go figure? I
have no doubt that you guys will meet each other sooner or later.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I also really enjoyed the pics of you and
Larry at Pend Oreille. That looks like a beautiful sailing area and obviously
the day you took the shots the wind was willing to play! I check your site
pretty regularly looking for anything new that might pop up. You did a knock
out
job at fixing up "Not-So Sinky". Good inspiration for me!

Well, just catylized the last gallon of barrier coat and it's almost been the
required 20 minutes of induction time. So...off to the great outdoors to
paint like a fool!

Sean
