It has been quite a while since the subject of artwork and T-Shirts was originally brought up on the list and I'm sure lots of the M-Boat owners will recall the discussions; I for one was at best... sceptical. I figured we would end up with someone doing a Crayolla sort of job of drawing a Monty. Little did I realize, we have a graphics art specialist in our midst.
When I saw David's - Montgomery line drawings - I immediately put up the Crayons and decided his offering was better than I could ever accomplish, even with the 256 color box of Crayons I had just purchased for the project. Yes, my hat is off to David. If you visit his website, you can see what he does for the attorneys who send him work to prepare their clients for patents of their inventions. The art is so precise (has to be) it almost appears to be an X-Ray of a finished product. Like anything, there is a learning curve to be able to do what David does. He has definitely paid his (time) dues and his work shows it! Lastly, I have on occasion asked David to assist with Monty projects that require his special talents. He has always been very helpful even though the project may not have gotten off the ground. So, thanks David for being as good and as helpful as you are. If it were not for your generosity and expertise we would not have line drawings, T-Shirt art for the '05 Hess Fest, and T-shirt art for Sean to run with to make the T-Shirts I have today!
