All: Thanks a bunch for the RK20 advice. The boat wouldn't be for me... it's for a friend, but I'd be the one helping him to fix it. The choice is between that or a ODay 22 (not sure if it's a centerboard model or not). My poor friend is a lost soul... he's got hardly any money but is dying for a sailboat.
I think I'm steering him towards the RK, even though the O'Days have a higher book value. A little tender is OK, though I am surprised to hear it doesn't point too well... I figured if Lyle designed it, it'd outperform most any trailerable short of a J-boat or as Cal20. Anyway, thanks for the help.
