Skip,
My Mariner outboard has a flushing access (remove a bolt). I just stick a
small diameter hose to a garden hose at low flow. If you have your manual
check it you might find that your motor has something similar.

Subject: M_Boats: Easy Flush
All,
Does anyone know of an easier way of flushing a small 2hp motor without
using a trash can? I don't always return home after a sail and I'm
looking for a quick and easy method of flushing my motor while traveling.
The traditional flush cups are too big and will not fit over the intake
hole due to the location of the hole.
Has anyone ever tapped the the intake hole and used a small fitting. I
was considering using a small male fitting with a gate valve (for
adjusting flow) connected to a short tube that connects to a traditional
hose fitting.
If anyone has an easier, tried and true method, I'd appreciate it if you'd
share.
Thanks in Advance,
Skip
