You might consider cruising to Door County in WI, or up into the Garden Peninsula of Upper Michigan. Washington Island, Fayette, Michigan, Ephraim, etc. offer excellent cruising and lots of little gunk holes to escape the weather. Great state parks, great beaches, great scenery. Some long stretches of open water too. I can visualize a fleet of Montys tied up in Fayette (Google Fayette Michigan -- a magic place). Sailed my Montgomery 17 in that area for years, but now have the boat in FL. Have an O'Day in WI now, but would enjoy cruising it with the Montys if they allow it.
