Hello Everyone
I been sailing for 30+ yr.'s and have owner 4 sailboats before a
found out about the Montgomery boats, thanks to Rick Langer and his
friends that I meet at Freeport, Va at the end of their 2006 cruise.
So I started searching for a used M15. (very hard to find on the East
coast). In March I found hull #264 listed about 90 miles from here
and bought her. But she needs work and weather here has not been
good. Hope a get it in the water next month and give her a try. I
have lots of questions as I go thru this boat. But right now I need
to know how the rig works (I just order new rigging from Jerry), the
old shrouds were cut and turnbuckles added at the chainplates, so I
'm not sure how the new wire should be attached at the chainplates?
Also from the MSOG web site I found that Giles Morris owned this boat
at one time . Does anyone know how to contact him? Thanks for any
help pics and/or info.
