hmmmm ...monogramed trailer jacks...I'll have to give that some thought. I was thinking something a little easier like ....say......a monogramed wheel chock! hahaha. Thanks for the vote of confidence though, Jeff!. About 5 weeks left 'till we head out to meet Larry and the gang in the San Juans. Wow! The reality that it's really gonna happen for us this year is setting in. I can't even begin to tell you how disapointed we were last year when I wasn't able to get Dauntless ready in time. The list of things to get done before we go seems endless but I'm making a dent in it. Today was spent pulling all four wheels off the trailer, re-packing the bearings, and checking out the brake system. I feel like the guy "Earl" on the TV show where he's always crossing things off his list. Hopefully the fact that I turned down an opportunity to go sailing with a buddy today to instead be a good boy and get some of these projects done will buy us some good karma. Anyone that knows me knows that turning down an opportunity to go sailing is a rare thing........and rightly so. We are really looking forward to the week on the boat. We are really NOT looking forward to the "bonzai" 1100 mile two day over the road blast each way! Too bad you can't Fedex a Monty! Luckily, Larry has promised us that we'll fall in love with the Washington, Oregon area (neither 'Jo nor I have ever been north of CA). I know he's right. Heck, maybe we won't make the 1100 mile trip home. :-) I wonder if they need any teachers and fireman in the Anacortes area????
