Donglai, I was having the same problem last year with my M17... Jerry's first recommendation was to whip up some epoxy and spread that around the pin on both sides (goop up one side, hammer it over to the other side to goop it up also and then line it up flush) and let it dry for a day or two. I believe this "thickens" the pin and keeps it where it belongs. If that doesn't work (and it worked for me so far) then you probably need to replace the pin. He said that you have to knock the new one in while knocking the old one out... I am sure there is a trick to that as the centerboard may want to fall somewhere in there. I guess if i were to do that i would hammer hard and fast to make sure the hole stayed lined up throughout... perhaps there is another trick to this... But i would try the epoxy fix first... it worked for me (so far)! Jeff M17 #336
