Congratulations Dan, the first sail is always the toughest. Today was just the first of many years of learning. I've sailed plenty in the past, but I recently bought a used Monty and spent 3 days on the Chesapeake Bay with a great group of Monty owners, and boy want an eye opener. The things I didn't know I didn't know!!! Sailing is a constent learning experience. It's very enjoyable and relaxing even thought it takes work and plenty of practice. If you ever need any help, this is the place to come. There is plenty of experience here on the MSOG and everyone I've met is friendly and willing to give there 2 cents worth.
