Hey all, I guess "funtigo.com" has been absorbed by "Piczo.com" Fortunately they took all the pages of our website across to the new domain. Dauntless and crew are homeward bound right now from attending the week long San Juan Islands Monty get-together put on by Larry Yake. I'm typing this from our hotel room in Utah. All I can say is WOW! We had a great time. Worth every mile of the 1503 miles from our front door to the slings at Anacortes. We took lots and lots of pics. Once we get home I'll work at getting some representative shots and a narrative of our trip as "first-timers" up on the site.If you've thought of doing this trip but haven't yet made it.....DO IT. Next year looks shakey but there was some talk of a 2009 rendevous. Quick synopsis....quite a bit of sailing...used almost every sail combination we had..sometimes all in the same day!, some sun, some rain, lots of interesting currents, stunning scenery, anchorages, marinas, wildlife, and towns, and just a totally awsome group of folks. Are you interested in Montys??? then this was the place for you. There were 15's, 17's, a fix-keeled 17, and three 23's, as well as a Nonsuch 26.
