I had a fixed length one made for me at a local trailer/welding shop. I am sure that you can do the same for stock size of your receiver. I am sure that it will be strong enough as the tongue weight for a balanced trailer should only be about 10% of the total trailer and load - M15, 100lbs. Even with a 4 ft lever arm the 1 1/2 inch bar stock will support this. Thanks Doug Kelch
