I don't ever trailer with my motor on the mount. Of course I do have a heavy
old 4 HP Johnson 2 cycle. It's too heavy for my M-15 fixed mount. I keep it
in the back of my 4 Runner and strap it down so it doesn't brain me & the
family if I have to stop fast.
