Hello Listers, I have purchased new instruments for my M23 and after hauling out this fall I intend to mount the new mushroom transducer housings in the same spots as the present ones. The question: does anyone have any experience removing the old mounts? I have no idea what adhesive was used to glue them into the hull, it could be something as strong as 3M 5200. I was thinking of removing the clamping nut, then applying some heat to see if the mounts may loosen. Then do some gentle prying. Any input would be appreciated. I purchased new Navman speed and depth electronics to replace the old Signet Marine.
