Ron, thanks for taking a moment to send on your congrats! My wife and
I are semi-retired educators who escaped the metro Seattle area for a
'beach house' on Whidbey several years ago. Although she's a bit wary
of joining me on the boat, it's her fault I'm sailing at all, as she
purchased sailing lessons for me last summer at the Lake Union Center
for Wooden Boats.
We overlook and have dock access to Holmes Harbor, located just a
mile by sea to Camano Island. I look forward to gaining some sailing
skill and confidence during the remainder of the fall and again when
spring arrives. At any rate, I know that I have a safe, seaworthy
craft that I can stick with over the long haul. Thanks again for your
