Thanks Skipper

How long did the battery last? How did you charge it?
I am thinking of crusing the channel island CA and might be without shore
power for a week.

Capt. Sadler, I installed an electronic tiller control on my my first
M15 "JOY", don't recall the specifics off hand, but it did very well
except in hard gusts when it could not react fast or hard enough. One
of the sailing magazines, perhaps two decades back, did a survey of
installed autopilots, and Joy had the distinction, in their final
report, of being the smallest sailboat with an electronic autopilot.
May consider it again, don't know yet. Wait and see how long I live,
I guess.
