Hi Gang,
My '06 Tacoma got 16mpg towing my M17 to the North Channel last June. It has 
the 4.0 L V-6 and a 5 speed auto. I kept it out of 5 gear. The truck never 
broke a sweat.
Of couse, towing the M23 is a whole different story, I haven't tried that yet.
