Yah, that's right. I tow a fully loaded M17 with a turbo-charged
Subaru Forester and it works great! THE KEY IS HAVING BRAKES ON THE
TRAILER. The boat trailer and gear are just under 2400 pounds.

be very careful. Or I could just be misunderstanding this thread

requirements vary from vehicle to vehicle and state to state.
