The movie?
News to me, but back in the 70's they made the movie "Riddle of the
Sands". Curiosity got to me, so I ordered a copy off Amazon. VHS tape.
No DVD's. Checked with NetFlix and "no joy".
I found it loosely based on the book. I do mean loosely. More like a
highlight reel of the some of the more famous lines. About like watching
a poorly produced high school play. If you didn't already know the
story, it would be hard to follow the plot. But...there is that scenery
to enjoy.
Anyway, now that I've watched the thing, I'm willing to put it on the
road for anyone else who would like to see it. I propose to work it like
this. Send me your name and address off channel and I will put together
a Word file with names and addresses. FIFO rule....first in, first out.
I'll put the list of names of the people who respond on a slip of paper
with the movie. When you have finished
....ahem.....viewing.....ahem......cross your name off and send it on to
the next person. When you do that, send me an email off channel, letting
me know you are forwarding it to the next person on the list. That way,
I'll always know where it is. Last person can send it back to me.
If you have concerns about privacy and don't want your name out on any
lists, Amazon still has a few used copies "For Sail".
