Well, the Havasu Pocket Cruiser Poker Run/Scavenger hunt is being overrun and the gauntlet has been thrown down by Capt Howie of the Socal Potter fleet ( a good friend of mine). Be it known, The Unknown Court of the Admiralty has commissioned the West Coat POTTERS to make safe the waters of Havasu; Further be it known, the POTTERS have been authorized to use whatever means necessary to deny and otherwise recover the ill-gotten plunder and treasure of the buccaneer Mulligan and his treacherous Montgomery fleet; Further be it known, any privateers operating in the waters of Havasu are encouraged to align themselves with the West Coast POTTERS; Further be it known, that any privateer flying the black flag and otherwise aiding and abetting the dastardly Mulligan shall receive no Kings Pardon; Further be it known, that any privateer joining the ranks of the West Coast POTTERS shall have a Kings Pardon and will receive and fly the colors of the British Red Ensign below: With that challenge thrown out there I'm calling for backup from my Montgomery brothers! Come on down here and help us defeat the Potters and establish the Montgomery Fleet's dominance! And, I have to tell you, that I've spent some time sailing with the Socal Potter group. They are a great bunch of folks who have always welcomed a few of us stray Monty guys into their events.
